Designed to allow residents to live independently and enjoy being part of their local community, these two homes cater to the needs of people with all abilities.
The young family that purchased this once dark, dingy, worn-out single fronted Edwardian house in Northcote saw the potential it had. They engaged B2 to transform and modernise it so that it would suit the needs of their growing family.
We were able to transform the house into a light-filled modern family home, while being sympathetic to and preserving the historic architectural features of the building. Through a variety of alternations and an addition, our design solution not only increased the space but created an illusion that it is bigger than it actually is. Today this historic home has a new lease on life and is a desirable inner city property with two bedrooms and modern kitchen and bathroom.
