B2 Director Brent Tullio recently became one of a handful of Australian architects to earn the designation as an Accredited Learning Environment Planner (AELP) by the International Association for Learning Environments (A4LE).
The AELP certification recognises the highest level of professional excellence in education facilities planning. The process of certification is rigorous and thorough, requiring applicants to meet strict eligibility criteria, demonstrate extensive experience and knowledge in learning environment design and undertake many months of study and interviews.
“An individual who has been certified by A4LE has achieved the highest qualification in our profession. Clients can appoint ALEPs with confidence that they have been examined for competence by our association.”
Established in 1921, A4LE is the only professional organisation whose sole purpose is improving the places where children learn. With chapters across the world, it brings together a diverse group of professionals specialising in education design, planning and building to promote the creation of quality, innovative learning environments.
