Learning Centre Redevelopment

Understanding that for Catholic primary school students, school is a place for learning, establishing their faith, and beginning a lifelong relationship with God, the redevelopment of  St Jude’s Primary School’s learning centre will create an environment that supports a variety of learning experiences and fosters the development of each child’s faith.

Surrounded by four general learning and dedicated STEM and Art learning environments, the central breakout area will provide a flexible space for collaborative learning experiences, play, quiet time, reflection and community events.

The interior’s soft, colourful hues and tactile material selections combine to create a vibrant, but safe, nurturing and welcoming environment that fosters curiosity, engagement and connection, promoting wellbeing, connection and collaboration.

Outside, the building’s exterior features subtle references to Catholic symbols, such as the cross, that create unique, contemporary architectural elements and ingrain the school community’s faith within the building’s fabric.
