The development of the gymnasium, learning centre and the refurbishment of the canteen are the final stage of Diggers Rest Primary School’s Master Plan.
Inspired by the surrounding area and community, the building’s exteriors and interiors feature warm natural colour palettes and materials that combine to create environments that cultivate curiosity, support learning and encourage connection.
With a full-size basketball court, stage, change rooms, kitchen and foyer, and adjoining drama and music rooms, the new gymnasium will be a true community hub. While the new learning centre’s four contemporary, flexible classrooms, collaborative learning space and landscaped outdoor areas will support all types of learning experiences.
Once complete, the new buildings will offer environments that foster learning, play, reflection, social interactions, and promote overall well-being, providing students, staff, and the growing community with the space and amenities they need to thrive individually and collectively.
